Another season has started, who will win the league. It will be one of Man City, Man Utd or Chelsea. At the moment I think that is the order, but it’s far from certain.
City certainly have the strongest squad on paper, but the starting 11 look to be very close. United have experience and the “fergie factor”, for all Arsen Wengers clains of youth development it’s fergie who is the real master at developing youth talent with lots of players coming through the raqnks again this year.
City on paper should win with that squad, but it’s not played on paper and I still think that Roberto M is far to defensive for the PL, but maybe his squad can still pull it off. I would expect United to push them all the way, Ashley Young could prove to be a great signing.
As for Chelsea. Well it all depends on who they sign, Juan Mata has just come in and is just the type of flair player that is needed. Would love to see Luka Modric come in as well. Really do need to freshen up the squad. As much as I love Lampard and Drogba. It really does have to be Torres this season with drogba operating off the bench and keeping fresh for the big european nights. Same goes for Lampard really he need to be rotated more this year, similar to the role that Scholes has played for united over the past few years.
We also have a new manager AVB, the ginger Jose!. Lets see what he can do, he subbed Kalou in the first half on Saturday, well done for that! Kalou really should only ever be used as an impact player, last 20 minutes. If he can bring in 2 more quality midfield players before the deadline then we have a real chance. The attack looks very strong the Sturridge and the new Belgium lad coming through. Defence also looks solid with plenty of cover for everyone, apart from the keeper, that need to be sorted out.
I’ll make my final predictions next week after the deadline. But 4th will be between Liverpool and Arsenal, think it will be Liverpool. Maybe S

purs but think the best they could do will be 5th. If Arsenal finish 6th then Arsen really has to go. Maybe he can get a job in the City, he’s much better at managing finances than managing a football team anyway. Their squad looks really weak this year with the loss of Nasri and Fab.
